In You

A poem of total surrender — finding God present in brokenness, weakness, and doubt, and asking Him to dismantle every wall that keeps us from being fully His.

By Steve Wilkins

I crested the hill
Washed by Your wind
Reminded that I was still IN YOU

In my brokenness
In my weakness
In my doubt
IN YOU
In my study
In my meditation
In my imagination
IN YOU

I crested the hill
Washed by your wind
Reminded that I was still IN YOU

All who are around me
Working
Playing
IN YOU
Lives intersect
A glance
A Smile
IN YOU

I tried two lives
Church
World
Where am I
IN YOU
I erect barriers
Where might You lead
What might You ask
It's all IN YOU

Dismantle my walls
Do what You choose
Change me
Use me
Or leave me to glorify You
Everywhere
Every day

I crested the hill
Washed by your wind
Reminded that I was still IN YOU
